Bucks head coach Doc Rivers and his staff will coach the Eastern Conference in the 2024 NBA All-Star Game after Milwaukee clinched the best record in the East through games played on Feb. 4 among the teams with a head coach eligible for the All-Star Game.
This will be Rivers’ fourth time as an All-Star head coach. He coached the East in 2008 and 2011 while with Boston and Team Kevin Durant in 2021 while with Philadelphia.
Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla was not eligible because he served as a head coach in the All-Star Game last season.
This year’s All-Star Game will take place in Indianapolis on Feb. 18.
